This article will help you understand why the Client Manager crashes on login.
If your Client Manager crashes on login, your ETS2 install is most likely corrupted. To fix it:
- open up Steam - Settings - Storage
- click the three dots on the right and select Repair
- repeat this for all drives Steam lists
- then open up
Documents\DBus Client(if it exists) - remove
settings.dbfe(if it exists) - restart your pc (mandatory)
If the Client Manager is still crashing, take a look at the logs created:
- WIN+R - %localappdata% - DBusWorld
- launcher.log.txt
- client.log.txt
They will list the reason of the crash.
