1. General Philosophy

By accessing DBus World, you agree to these standards. We are a community project, and we view you as a member of that community.

Community Status: We do not consider you a "guest" whose privileges can be revoked for no reason. You are a driver, and as long as you follow these rules, the road is yours.

Open Communication: If a rule is vague or open to interpretation, we prefer to have a conversation like humans. We do not believe that "ambiguity" should always favor the administration at the expense of the player.

2. Team and Moderation

The DBus World Team maintains the service. We focus on keeping the experience fair rather than acting as a “secret service.”

Intervention: We do not get involved in VBC rivalries or personal drama unless it breaks the code of conduct.

3. Account Standards

The One Account Policy: One driver, one profile. Attempting to bypass a ban by creating a new identity is prohibited.

Security: You are responsible for your own credentials. If your Steam or Discord accounts get compromised, that is for you to resolve.

4. Driving and Hardware

We do not have the desire or the technical interest to micromanage your local game files.

Job Syncing: Offline driving data must be synced within 24 hours. After this window, the data is cleared automatically to keep our systems lean.

5. Bans and Enforcement

5.1 Conduct: We have zero tolerance for harassment, slurs, or discriminatory behavior.

5.2 Ban Authority: We reserve the right to ban you for breaking our rules, for cheating, or for any reason we want, honestly.

5.3 Evidence Standards: If you report someone, keep it simple. We do not require a three-month archival plan or a "director's cut" of your gameplay with precise timestamps. Just show us what happened.

5.4 Transparency: If you are banned, the status may be shown publicly on your profile. We believe in transparency over secrecy.

6. Virtual Bus Companies (VBCs)

Ownership: VBC owners are responsible for their members. If your drivers are causing chaos, we will look to you to fix it.

Branding: Use real-world logos at your own risk. If a real company sends a legal request, we will remove the content immediately.

7. Marketplace Rules

8. Software Integrity

The Client: Using our software means you are cool with it sending driving data to our servers.

No Reverse Engineering: Please do not attempt to decompile or tamper with the client. We put a lot of work into it.

9. Final Word

Respect the road and respect each other. We are here to drive, not to litigate.
